AIBS currently provides diverse and much needed education qualifications in the private tertiary education sector in Sri Lanka, in the areas of Science, Business, IT, and Engineering.Position Overview We are looking for a driven and relationship-oriented Assistant Manager – Schools & Institutional Engagement to build and manage AIBS's school outreach function as a structured student engagement and lead generation channel. This role plays an important part in building long-term relationships with schools, students, parents, teachers, and career guidance stakeholders, while creating a consistent pipeline of prospective students for AIBS programmes.As an Assistant Manager – Schools & Institutional Engagement, you will go beyond arranging school visits or distributing promotional material. You will develop meaningful school relationships, create student engagement opportunities, generate quality leads, and support the overall enrolment objectives of AIBS, while working closely with the Marketing, Academic, and Student Enrolment teams. Key Responsibilities:Develop and manage strategic relationships with schools, education agents, and other key stakeholders to generate qualified leads and support student enrolment.Plan and execute school visits, career guidance sessions, workshops, exhibitions, agent meetings, and other recruitment and outreach activities.Promote AIBS programmes, international pathways, scholarships, and employability opportunities to prospective students, parents, schools, and agent partners.Organise and support campus visits, open days, trial lectures, competitions, and other initiatives that engage prospective students and strengthen the recruitment pipeline.Manage leads generated through schools, agents, events, and other outreach activities, ensuring accurate tracking, timely follow-up, and effective conversion.Collaborate with the Marketing, Admissions, and Student Support teams to coordinate recruitment activities and achieve lead generation and enrolment targets.Gather market and stakeholder intelligence, monitor recruitment performance, and prepare regular reports and recommendations to support continuous improvement.Qualifications & Experience:Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Education, or related field.At least 3 years' experience in school outreach, business development, or stakeholder management, ideally in education.Experience with schools, tuition institutes, or career guidance networks is a plus.Strong relationship-building skills with principals, teachers, parents, and students.Familiarity with CRM or lead-tracking tools and accurate record-keeping.Good communication and presentation skills, able to represent AIBS professionally at events.Why Join Us?A collaborative and friendly working culture where your ideas are valued. The opportunity to contribute to meaningful initiatives that directly shapes the organization. Opportunities to grow professionally through continuous learning and new experiences. Competitive remuneration and benefits. A dynamic team environment where creativity and innovation are encouraged. How to Apply Please send your CV along with a brief cover note to careers@aibs.edu.lk with the subject line Assistant Manager – Schools & Institutional Engagement.
