The resort features over 20 curated restaurants and lounges, the traditional Souk Madinat Jumeirah, dedicated kids' clubs and some of the region’s most versatile event and conference spacesAbout the Job:An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Security Manager to join our hotel Jumeirah Mina Al SalamThe main duties and responsibilities of this role include:Coordinate and oversee Security Officers and Paramedics, ensuring the safety and security of all guests, colleagues, and resort facilities.Monitor and maintain property security, identifying potential risks, hazards, and security threats and taking appropriate action.Develop and deliver security training programs, ensuring colleagues are familiar with security, fire prevention, and emergency procedures.Prepare and maintain incident reports, SOPs, key control, and lost property records, ensuring accurate and up-to-date documentation.Liaise with police and external authorities when handling investigations related to crimes, accidents, or incidents involving the resort.Lead and develop the security team through performance appraisals, coaching, counselling, and disciplinary actions, while identifying and addressing training needs.About You:The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualificationsHigher Secondary Education in a relevant field; college graduate or Degree in Criminology is desirable.Dubai Police Security License with relevant Dubai Police-approved security training.Minimum 5 years of Security, Police, or Military experience, preferably with customer-facing/service-oriented experience.Strong technical knowledge of CCTV operations, Fire & Safety, and intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills.Excellent problem-solving, leadership, project management, creativity, and attention to detail skills.About the BenefitsAt Jumeirah, we are dedicated to fostering a workplace where colleagues feel valued, supported, and inspired to grow.
