Apply & track with Apply EdgeWe are looking for an Assistant Manager / Senior Executive, Leasing, who will be based in Singapore and support Starbucks Singapore’s store growth within the Store Development team.This role is vital in supporting the organisation’s real estate strategy by ensuring lease coordination, documentation, approvals and key milestones are managed accurately, efficiently and in line with business requirements. The role will play an important role in supporting new stores, renewals and relocations by helping translate strategic store concepts into viable, customer-centric store locations.Working closely with Leasing Managers, landlords and internal stakeholders, this role will manage lease records, approvals, documentation workflows, key dates and finance-related lease matters with strong attention to detail and stakeholder follow-through. Through effective coordination and practical lease administration support, this role helps ensure smooth store development, timely decision-making and operational readiness.Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:(1) Site Sourcing and Lease CoordinationCoordinate site evaluation requirements and support lease managers with follow-up actions for potential new stores, relocations and renewal opportunities.Assist in compiling and maintaining key site information, commercial terms, landlord submissions and internal approval materials to support timely decision-making.Negotiate, build and maintain effective working relationships with landlords, internal stakeholders and real estate brokers to facilitate smooth lease administration processes.Coordinate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure lease-related requirements, timelines and administrative deliverables are completed in support of successful store openings and renewals.(2) Lease Administration and DocumentationMaintain accurate and up-to-date lease databases including tenancy agreements, license agreements, letters of offer, side letters, addenda and other related lease documentation.Administer and monitor key lease dates, financial obligations, insurance requirements and renewal milestones to ensure timely follow-up.Partner with Finance to support rent payment administration, rental adjustments, landlord billing matters and the reconciliation of lease-related charges, where required.Coordinate the review, routing and execution of lease documents with landlords, legal counsel, finance and internal stakeholders.Ensure lease documents and supporting approvals are properly filed, tracked and retrievable for audit, reporting and business reference purposes.(3) Process ImprovementCoordinate with internal teams and external parties to resolve lease administration matters, improve documentation workflows and support the timely escalation of critical lease-related issues.Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesAt least 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in lease administration, retail leasing support, property management administration or a related real estate function.Strong understanding of lease documentation, tenancy agreements, key lease terms and lease administration processes.Highly organised, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple deadlines, lease milestones and documentation workflows concurrently.Good stakeholder management skills with the ability to coordinate effectively with landlords, legal, finance, operations and internal business partners.Able to review commercial terms, identify gaps or inconsistencies and escalate issues in a timely and structured manner.Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint and lease management or database systems; Power BI knowledge would be advantageous.Positive disposition, resourcefulness and strong team orientation.About StarbucksStarbucks Singapore is proudly operated under licence by Maxim’s Caterers Limited, a leading restaurant operator in Asia.
