This role offers a unique opportunity to work with some of the world's leading energy, utilities, mining, and industrial organizations, helping them navigate complex operational, regulatory, and strategic challenges.As part of our team, you will collaborate with industry leaders and multidisciplinary specialists to deliver innovative risk advisory, internal audit, governance, and operational excellence solutions across the NRE value chain. You will also contribute to the adoption of emerging technologies including Artificial Intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT), Robotics, and Advanced Analytics to transform client operations and risk management frameworks.This position is ideal for professionals seeking to accelerate their consulting careers while developing deep sector expertise across Upstream, Midstream, and Downstream operations.Your Key ResponsibilitiesClient Delivery & Advisory ExcellenceLead and manage internal audit, risk assessment, internal controls, and advisory engagements across the Natural Resources & Energy sector.Evaluate governance, risk management, and control frameworks to identify opportunities for operational improvement and risk mitigation.Conduct reviews across exploration, drilling, production, refining, petrochemicals, power generation, utilities, mining, infrastructure, logistics, and energy services operations.Assess operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, asset integrity, project governance, maintenance reliability, and performance management processes.Develop high-quality client deliverables including risk assessments, audit programs, planning memoranda, executive reports, and management presentations.Manage engagement timelines, budgets, quality standards, and stakeholder expectations.Sector Leadership & Business DevelopmentBuild and maintain trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders and decision-makers.Support business development initiatives, proposal development, and sector-specific pursuits.Contribute to market positioning activities, thought leadership publications, and industry-focused insights.Collaborate with regional and global teams to develop innovative service offerings aligned to evolving market needs.Innovation & Digital TransformationSupport the integration of AI, Data Analytics, IoT, Robotics, and digital solutions into risk advisory and internal audit engagements.Identify opportunities to enhance audit efficiency and risk monitoring through technology-enabled methodologies.Monitor emerging industry trends, regulatory developments, sustainability initiatives, and technological advancements impacting the energy sector.Contribute to the development of proprietary tools, frameworks, and digital assets that enhance client value.Team Leadership & Talent DevelopmentCoach, mentor, and develop junior team members through effective performance management and technical guidance.Foster a culture of continuous learning, collaboration, and innovation.Lead knowledge-sharing initiatives and support sector-specific capability development programs.Participate in performance reviews, career development discussions, and talent management activities.Qualifications & ExperienceRequired Experience5–10 years of relevant experience in Risk Advisory, Internal Audit, Internal Controls, Operational Risk, or Consulting.Experience within a leading consulting, advisory, professional services, or energy organization is highly preferred.Demonstrated expertise across one or more Natural Resources & Energy subsectors, including:Oil & Gas (Upstream, Midstream, Downstream)Petrochemicals & RefiningPower & UtilitiesRenewable & Green EnergyMining & MetalsEnergy Infrastructure & ServicesTechnical ExpertiseStrong understanding of one or more of the following areas:Exploration, drilling, production, refining, and petrochemical operationsPower generation and utility operationsMining and mineral processing activitiesMajor capital projects (CAPEX) and project governance reviewsEngineering, Procurement & Construction (EPC) environmentsEnvironment, Health & Safety (EHS) assessmentsAsset integrity, maintenance, reliability, and operational excellenceContract management, project controls, and regulatory complianceEducationBachelor's Degree in Engineering (Petroleum, Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Instrumentation, Metallurgy, or related discipline).Master's degree (MBA, M.Tech, or equivalent) is advantageous.Professional CertificationsCandidates should possess at least one relevant professional certification, such as:Certified Internal Auditor (CIA)ISO Lead Auditor CertificationsAPI CertificationsIntegrated Management Systems (IMS) CertificationsOther relevant industry-recognized certificationsSkills & CompetenciesStrong in multicultural and matrix environments.Ability to influence and engage senior leadership teams.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.Experience with data analytics and visualization tools
