Assistant Manager, Unit Trust Operations

Job Responsibilities:Oversee daily operations of the Unit Trust Operations department, ensuring accurate and timely processing of subscriptions, redemptions, and switching transactionsManage and supervise the Unit Trust Operations team, providing guidance, coaching, and performance developmentEnsure compliance with regulatory requirements from MAS and other governing bodiesCoordinate with fund houses, custodians, and internal stakeholders on settlement and reconciliation mattersMonitor and enhance operational workflows on the FAME platform and related systemsHandle escalated client enquiries and resolve operational issues promptlyPrepare management reports on operational performance and risk metricsDrive process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiencyEnsure adherence to Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Know Your Customer (KYC) policiesRequirements:Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in unit trust or fund operations, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial capacityStrong knowledge of unit trust operational processes, including NAV calculations, corporate actions, and fund settlementsFamiliarity with CPF Investment Scheme (CPFIS) and Supplementary Retirement Scheme (SRS) requirementsProficiency in fund administrationExcellent understanding of MAS regulatory requirementsStrong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skillsDetail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesKnowledge and proficiency in basic coding, AI adoption, and/or RPA are preferred and advantageous.
