The role ensures inventory accuracy, compliance with safety regulations, cost control, and uninterrupted supply to support golf course operations.
Job Responsibilities
Warehouse OperationsAssist in managing the daily operations of the Golf Division warehouse.Supervise receiving, inspection, storage, and issuance of materials and equipment.Ensure proper inventory control procedures are implemented and maintained.Monitor stock levels and initiate replenishment requests to avoid shortages.Verify that all goods received match purchase orders and delivery documentation.Ensure timely issuance of materials to golf course maintenance, irrigation, landscaping, and facilities teams.Maintain effective warehouse organization and housekeeping standards.Inventory ManagementConduct regular stock counts, cycle counts, and annual inventory audits.Maintain accurate inventory records within the ERP or inventory management system.Monitor slow-moving, obsolete, and damaged inventory and recommend corrective actions.Optimize inventory levels to support operations while minimizing carrying costs.Track and manage critical spare parts inventories for irrigation and golf maintenance equipment.Procurement & CoordinationCoordinate with Procurement for timely replenishment of stock items.Assist in preparing material forecasts based on operational requirements.Follow up on outstanding purchase orders and vendor deliveries.Coordinate with suppliers regarding delivery schedules and discrepancies.Equipment, Chemicals & Fertilizers ManagementEnsure proper storage and handling of fertilizers, turf chemicals, pesticides, lubricants, fuels, and hazardous materials.Monitor shelf-life requirements and compliance with manufacturer recommendations.Maintain records of chemical usage and storage in accordance with company and regulatory requirements.Support inventory controls for irrigation fittings, pumps, tools, and golf course maintenance equipment parts.Leadership & SupervisionProvide guidance and support to warehouse staff.Monitor employee productivity and compliance with warehouse procedures.Assist in training warehouse personnel on inventory management systems and safe work practices.Support performance improvement initiatives and operational efficiency programs.ReportingPrepare inventory, consumption, stock valuation, and warehouse performance reports.Analyze inventory trends and recommend stock optimization measures.Report stock discrepancies and operational concerns to management.Qualifications and Experience:Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field. Minimum 4-6 years of warehouse and inventory management experience. At least 2 years in a supervisory role. Experience in golf, landscaping, irrigation, agriculture, hospitality, or facilities management operations is preferred. Experience using ERP and inventory management systems. Knowledge of inventory control and warehouse management best practices.
