Job SummaryThe Warehouse Operations Manager is responsible for leading day-to-day warehouse operations within a 3PL chemical storage environment, ensuring the safe, efficient, and timely execution of all warehousing activities. The role drives operational excellence, manages warehouse performance, and maintains strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.The position ensures full compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations, hazardous materials handling requirements, and company policies while promoting a strong safety culture.The role also oversees workforce planning, budgeting, KPI achievement, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and team performance.Salary: 22K AEDJob Type: PermanentKey ResponsibilitiesOversee and manage the day-to-day warehouse operations, ensuring the efficient execution of all warehousing activities and effective supervision of warehouse personnel.Monitor, evaluate, and report on warehouse productivity, operational performance, and efficiency to customers and internal stakeholders.Coordinate the safe receipt, storage, handling, and timely dispatch of chemical products in compliance with operational and regulatory requirements.Promote and embed a strong Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) culture by encouraging safe behaviors and ensuring compliance across all warehouse operations.Verify the accuracy of orders, inventory records, batch/lot tracking, inbound and outbound shipments, and related documentation.Maintain accurate operational records and prepare reports and documentation to support customers, finance, management, and operational teams.Ensure compliance with all applicable health, safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements, including hazardous materials handling, chemical compatibility, segregation standards, and storage class guidelines. Support and enforce company policies, procedures, and statutory regulations.Coordinate the maintenance and operational readiness of warehouse equipment, including conducting daily material handling equipment (MHE) inspections to ensure safe and efficient operations.Maintain professional communication and effective coordination with customers, logistics partners, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless warehouse operations.Plan and manage workforce resources to meet daily operational and customer requirements.Drive continuous improvement in warehouse operations while maintaining high service and quality standards.Ensure employees are trained, competent, and cross-skilled to support operational flexibility.Coordinate effectively with customers, suppliers, and transport providers to ensure smooth warehouse operations.Qualifications, Experience & SkillsBachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.8+ years of experience in 3PL warehousing, logistics, or supply chain operations, including at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and supply chain processes.Proven leadership and team management skills with the ability to coach and develop employees.Experience in budgeting, cost control, and performance management.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.Strong problem-solving, conflict resolution, and decision-making abilities.Well-organized with effective time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining high service and safety standards.
