Assistant MYP Coordinator

We are looking for a committed Assistant MYP Coordinator to complement our qualified workforce of educators. You will be responsible for implementing and guiding teachers in accordance to the school’s requirements.Assistant MYP Coordinator Responsibilities:Ensure that the written curriculum meets the IB expectations for IB MYPPrepare the subject-specific ATL with progressionTrain incoming teachers on ATL mapping and IDU integrations within their subject areasPreparing and providing the best subject-specific teaching practicesExpected to monitor student's overall academic progressionPrepare an action plan with teachers to support student learningSets the expectation for differentiated assessment for special needs studentsEnsure accurate allocation of grade-specific resources (books, websites, devices, platforms and software)Ensure prior syllabus (content) meets grade-specific requirementsSchedule and conduct weekly meetings with all MYP Teachers for collaboration with the team, with the agenda and categorizes the meeting typesSchedule and conduct weekly meetings with all Head of Departments for collaboration with the team, with the agenda and categorizes the meeting typesSchedule and conduct meetings with Head of Departments for moderation within and amongst departmentsProvide and train teachers with Subject-specific requirements and IB MYP requirements as per the individual guides available under Program Resource Centre on MyIB
