Starting in 2017 with noon.com, the region’s homegrown e-commerce platform and leading online shopping destination, noon is now a digital ecosystem of products and services - noon, noon Daily, noon Food, NowNow, SIVVI, noon VIP, and noon Pay.We are creating the Middle East’s local digital champion and are looking for world-class talent to join our team.What you’ll do: Responsible for the day‐to‐day management and strategic development of the company’s multi‐channel fulfillment network.Work with all stakeholders (Logistics, Planning, Central operations) to achieve the set targets and adhere to all procedures and policy of noon fulfillment center.Responsible for overseeing a wide variety of warehouse activities includingInbound, Stores, Shipping, Quality Control and maintaining inventory and associated records.People management responsibilities include hiring and training, planning and assigning daily work, conducting performance appraisals, addressing performance issues, and resolving problems.Drives creation of staffing plans, schedules, quality initiatives, process change initiatives, and other Change/Six Sigma initiatives to enable their Functional Area and ultimately the Fulfillment to meet and exceed Business Plan. Sets / clarifies requirements and expectations for Area Managers.What you’ll need:Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics or supply management or a similar roleMinimum 3 years of experience in E-commerce in a related fieldStrong experience in working as a business partner in delivering better decision support and enabling strategic initiatives which help to improve organization financial performance.Excellent analytical skills as well as strong business acumen.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.Proven ability as a passionate people-centric leader who can effectively drive results in a fast-paced and rapidly growing companyA passion for safety as a value rather than just a priorityAbility to manage and prioritize projects and delegate tasks appropriatelyAnalytical ability (e.g., pivot tables, lookup functions) to gather and interpret data to furtherdevelop, recommend and implement solutionsTechnologically savvy, familiarity with google suite a plusStrong organizational skills and attention to detailWho will excel?We’re looking for candidates who thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic start-up environment.
