Assistant Operations Manager

About the RoleAl-Qimam Factory is looking for a hands-on Assistant Operations Manager – Production & Projects to support the execution of BTL, retail display, luxury podium, counter, and exhibition projects.The role connects Design, Production, Purchasing, Quality Control, Logistics, and Installation, ensuring that approved designs are translated into high-quality finished products and delivered on time.Key ResponsibilitiesReview project briefs, drawings, dimensions, materials, and approved samples before production.Coordinate daily production schedules and priorities with factory teams.Follow projects from design approval through production, QC, delivery, and installation.Monitor daily progress on the factory floor and identify delays, bottlenecks, or technical issues.Coordinate requirements between Design, Production, Purchasing, Logistics, and Commercial teams.Ensure production complies with approved drawings, dimensions, materials, colors, finishes, and quality standards.Follow up on material availability and production readiness.Maintain project trackers and provide clear progress and exception reports to management.Support continuous improvement in productivity, quality, workflow, and on-time delivery.Take ownership of assigned projects and ensure proper follow-up until final completion.QualificationsBachelor’s degree or Diploma in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, Architecture, Industrial Design, or a related technical/design field.Good understanding of technical/shop drawings, measurements, materials, and fabrication methods.Knowledge of wood/MDF, metal, acrylic, glass, printing, paint finishes, lighting, and display materials is highly desirable.Experience in BTL production, retail displays, fit-out, joinery, exhibitions, or fabrication is an advantage.Strong planning, coordination, problem-solving, and follow-up skills.Detail-oriented with a strong quality and deadline mindset.Able and willing to work hands-on inside the factory, not only from an office.Fresh graduates with strong technical capabilities, maturity, and leadership potential may also be considered.LanguageEnglish: RequiredArabic: PreferredWork Details
