Tailor my CV for this job — freeWE ARE HIRING – ASSISTANT OPERATIONS MANAGERLocation: Makkah, Saudi ArabiaIndustry: Commercial Linen Laundry for Four- and Five-Star HotelsWe are looking for an experienced and responsible Assistant Operations Manager to support and oversee daily operations at our commercial linen laundry facility in Makkah.REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial or industrial linen laundry operations, preferably serving four- and five-star hotels.
- Strong knowledge of the complete laundry process, including receiving, sorting, washing, drying, finishing, pressing, folding, packing, and dispatch.
- Proven experience handling high-volume laundry operations.
- Ability to work effectively under heavy pressure and meet strict deadlines.
- Strong leadership, team management, and operational planning skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to manage manpower, production targets, linen flow, and daily operational requirements.
- Good understanding of hotel linen quality standards, hygiene, and service expectations.
- Strong communication and coordination skills with hotel clients and internal departments.
- Ability to monitor productivity, operational efficiency, turnaround time, and service quality.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist the Operations Manager in overseeing daily laundry operations.
- Supervise production teams and ensure smooth and efficient workflow.
- Monitor production targets, linen quality, productivity, and turnaround time.
- Ensure proper handling of hotel linen throughout receiving, washing, finishing, packing, and dispatch.
- Coordinate with hotel clients and internal departments to ensure timely service and resolve complaints.
- Manage staff performance, attendance, discipline, and shift requirements.
- Ensure that linen is processed and delivered according to client requirements and agreed schedules.
- Handle operational problems quickly and effectively, especially during peak periods and heavy workloads.
- Coordinate with maintenance teams to minimize equipment downtime and production delays.
- Monitor quality standards and implement corrective actions when required.
- Identify opportunities to improve productivity, efficiency, and service quality.
- Prepare operational reports and provide regular updates to management.
