Job Title: Assistant Manager - (UAE / Dubai Payroll)Location: IndiaEmployment Type: Full-TimeExperience: 5-10 YearsAbout the Role:We are looking for an experienced Assistant Manager / Team Lead - Payroll & Accounting to oversee end-to-end payroll operations, payroll accounting, statutory compliance, and team management. The ideal candidate will have strong payroll expertise, ERP knowledge, and leadership capabilities to drive process excellence and ensure accuracy in payroll and financial reporting.Key ResponsibilitiesPayroll OperationsManage end-to-end payroll processing for a large employee population.Review and validate payroll inputs including attendance, overtime, incentives, deductions, and benefits.Process final settlements, leave encashments, bonuses, and employee reimbursements.Ensure payroll accuracy and timely salary disbursements.Payroll Accounting & Financial ReportingPrepare payroll journal entries and post transactions to the General Ledger.Perform payroll-related account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.Support month-end and year-end financial closing activities.Generate payroll reports and management dashboards.Compliance & ControlsEnsure compliance with applicable payroll, tax, and labor regulations.Coordinate with auditors and provide required payroll documentation.Establish and maintain payroll controls, records, and documentation.Maintain confidentiality of employee payroll data.Process Improvement & LeadershipDrive payroll automation and process improvement initiatives.Manage payroll systems, ERP platforms, and integrations.Lead, mentor, and supervise payroll team members.Partner closely with HR, Finance, and business stakeholders to enhance payroll efficiency.Required QualificationsCA Inter / CMA / M.Com / MBA (Finance)5-10 years of experience in Payroll, Accounting, or Shared Services operationsStrong payroll accounting and GL reconciliation experienceExperience working with SAP or similar ERP platformsAdvanced MS Excel skills
