Role DescriptionSupport the management of fixed income, equity, and discretionary portfolios through disciplined investment research, portfolio monitoring, risk analysis, and high-quality reporting. The role works closely with portfolio managers and other stakeholders to translate market and issuer analysis into well-supported investment recommendations and effective portfolio decisions. Key ResponsibiltiesConduct fundamental research on listed equities, corporate bonds, sukuk, and selected private credit opportunities, with a focus on GCC markets.Build and maintain financial models, valuation analyses, credit assessments, and investment cases.Prepare clear investment recommendations, research notes, and investment committee papers, including key risks, catalysts, and downside scenarios.Support portfolio construction, security selection, cash deployment, rebalancing, and implementation within approved mandates and risk parameters.Monitor portfolio holdings, issuer developments, market conditions, credit metrics, valuations, and relevant risk exposures.Contribute to performance analysis and attribution, and help explain portfolio positioning and results.Prepare market commentaries, client presentations, portfolio reports, due diligence questionnaires, requests for proposals, and investor communications.Maintain accurate investment records and supporting analysis, and coordinate with internal stakeholders to meet reporting and governance requirements.Use Bloomberg and other investment platforms to source, validate, and interpret market and financial data.Contribute to a collaborative, disciplined, and high-integrity investment culture. Qualifications
Technical SkillsStrong financial modelling, valuation, credit analysis, and investment research capabilities.Ability to interpret financial statements, assess company fundamentals, and evaluate creditworthiness.Working knowledge of portfolio construction, performance attribution, and investment risk management.Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and familiarity with Bloomberg, FactSet, LSEG Workspace/Eikon, or similar platforms.Good understanding of market, credit, liquidity, and interest-rate risks. EducationBachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related discipline.Master's degree in Finance, Investment Management, or Business Administration is preferred. Professional CertificationsProgress toward, or completion of, the CFA designation is highly preferred.CAIA, FRM, or other relevant investment qualifications are advantageous. Experience4 to 6 years of relevant buy-side research experience in asset management environmentPractical coverage of listed equities and/or fixed income securities in GCC markets.Exposure to discretionary portfolio management, mutual funds, or institutional portfolios is preferred.
