The school is committed to inclusive practices and age-appropriate teaching methods that help children develop confidence and curiosity.Role Description The Assistant Preschool Teacher will support the Lead Teacher in creating and maintaining a warm, inclusive classroom environment for preschool-age children. This full-time, on-site role in Takoradi involves assisting with daily routines, preparing learning materials, and helping implement age-appropriate lessons and activities. The Assistant Preschool Teacher will supervise children during classroom activities, outdoor play, and meals, while promoting safety, positive behavior, and respectful interactions. The role includes maintaining classroom cleanliness, supporting documentation of children’s progress, and communicating effectively with the teaching team and families. The Assistant Preschool Teacher will also participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and school events as needed.Qualifications Candidates should possess skills in Early Childhood Education and experience supporting Kindergarten or preschool-age children.Candidates should possess skills in Lesson Planning and Curriculum Development to assist in preparing and adapting learning activities.Candidates should possess strong Communication skills for interacting with children, families, and colleagues.Candidates should ideally have basic classroom management skills and an understanding of child development and safety practices.Relevant certifications or training in early childhood education or a related field are beneficial.Ability to work collaboratively in a team, demonstrate patience, and show genuine care for children’s well-being is essential.
