Employment Type: Full-timeCompany Industry: TelecommunicationsKey ResponsibilitiesIT Procurement ManagementManage end-to-end procurement for IT hardware, software, cloud services, licenses, systems integration, and support contractsOversee procurement for enterprise-scale IT projects and operational technology requirementsEnsure timely sourcing and delivery aligned with project timelinesCross-Functional CoordinationWork closely with IT, Network, Digital, Finance, and Legal teams to support procurement needsCoordinate with internal stakeholders to understand technical and commercial requirementsSupplier Sourcing & ContractingConduct supplier sourcing, RFP/RFQ processes, and bid managementPerform technical-commercial evaluations and vendor comparisonsLead negotiations and finalize commercial contracts and agreementsAMC & Vendor Performance ManagementManage Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMCs) and maintenance agreementsEnsure SLA compliance, renewals, and vendor performance reviewsBuild strong relationships with strategic technology vendorsGovernance & ComplianceEnsure procurements align with budgets, internal controls, audit standards, and governance frameworksMaintain compliance with information security and procurement policiesManage approval workflows and accurate procurement documentationCost Optimization & Strategic SourcingDrive cost savings through vendor consolidation and renegotiationsSupport long-term sourcing strategies and procurement efficiency initiativesCandidate ProfileBachelor's Degree in IT, Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Management, or related fieldMinimum 4–6 years of experience in IT procurement, preferably within telecommunications, technology services, or large corporatesStrong exposure to IT projects, maintenance contracts, and AMCsSkills & CompetenciesStrong knowledge of IT procurement and sourcing strategiesGood understanding of technical requirements and enterprise systemsStrong negotiation and vendor management skillsExcellent analytical and commercial evaluation skillsStrong contract management and documentation abilitiesFamiliarity with governance, risk, and compliance frameworksExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced and structured environmentReady to take your career to new heights?We're InTalent Asia, your go-to recruitment partner in Sri Lanka, and we've got an exciting opportunity for you!
