Assistant Procurement Manager – Logistics Thailand

We seek to combine our own technology expertise and insights with our partners, to support the creation of disruptive sourcing strategies and supplier-led innovation that respond to ever-changing consumer needs quickly, flexibly, and effectively.Purpose of the JobCompetitive buying, sustainable sourcing and building purpose-led partnerships for Logistics services (Warehousing, Transportation) in Thailand.Key AccountabilitiesYou are expected to deliver on the key matrices of World class service, Competitive Cost and Sustainable sourcing by:Understanding market conditions as well as forecasting future markets trends.Co-creating and implementing Procurement strategies for your portfolio.Planning and executing Procurement Decisions of who to buy from, how to buy, when to buy.Working closely with Internal Operations team and External Supply Partners to drive key initiatives.Troubleshooting Supply Chain issues (e.g. Crisis Management).Identifying and implementing tools and processes to optimize sourcing practices.Education and ExperiencesBachelor’s degree with 5–7 years of experience in Procurement/Supply Chain Management OR Master’s degree with specialization in Procurement/Supply Chain and at least 2 years of relevant experience.Relevant experience in Logistics Services industry, or Procurement of such, will be preferable.Portfolio Strategy Development.Strong negotiation skills and analytical skills.Strategic Supplier Partnerships.Financial analysis and reporting.Proficiency in MS Excel, Word and Power Point.SAP and digital sourcing platforms knowledge; digitally adept in using tools, data and reporting to support procurement decisions.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Good command of English.Strong supplier management and stakeholder engagement skills, including the ability to influence cross-functional partners and external supply partners.High digital fluency, including SAP, digital sourcing platforms, reporting tools and Microsoft Office applications.Ability to operate independently with limited supervision, strategize for the portfolio and translate strategy into effective execution.
