You will work closely with engineering, data science, design, finance, and operations teams to define requirements, ship AI-driven capabilities, and ensure payments run accurately and smoothly.This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working with AI/ML capabilities to build innovative product features, and who is also comfortable managing payments-related requirements and processes.

Key Responsibilities

-Own the definition and delivery of AI-powered products and features end-to-end, working with data science and engineering to translate AI/ML capabilities into usable product functionality.Own product requirements for customer payments and checkout, including payment gateway integrations, transaction processing, and dispute handling.Write clear, well-scoped PRDs and user stories, and manage backlog prioritisation in collaboration with senior product managers.Partner with engineering on agile delivery cycles — sprint planning, grooming, testing, and release sign-off.Analyse checkout and payments data to identify automation opportunities, reduce manual effort, and improve conversion at checkout.Monitor product performance and AI feature adoption using analytics tools, and translate findings into iteration plans.Coordinate with finance, operations, compliance, and customer support teams to ensure customer payment processes meet business and regulatory requirements.Assist in QA, UAT, and go-live activities for new AI and payments features.Qualification & Experience:2–4 years of product management experience, with exposure to AI-powered products or features.Experience working on customer-facing payment systems or checkout workflows (e.g., payment gateways, cards, wallets, COD).Understanding of core e-commerce payment concepts: checkout flow, payment gateways, transaction processing, chargebacks, and disputes.Familiarity with AI/ML product concepts (e.g., model outputs, automation, anomaly detection) sufficient to collaborate effectively with data science and engineering teams.Skilled in writing PRDs and user stories, and running agile delivery (Jira/Confluence or similar).Comfortable working with data — SQL or Excel-based analysis to investigate data discrepancies or feature performance.Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work across product, engineering, finance, and operations.Experience in e-commerce product management is an added advantage.

Preferred Experience

Prior experience in fintech, payments, or financial operations.Exposure to AI/LLM-powered product features (chatbots, automation, fraud/anomaly detection, etc.).Knowledge of regional payment gateways and methods (cards, wallets, BNPL, bank transfers) in the GCC.Experience with analytics tools such as GA4, Tableau, or Power BI.
