The role involves delivering high-quality lectures and tutorials in anatomy and physiology, aligning course content with institutional and regulatory standards. The Assistant Professor will design lesson plans, prepare teaching materials, and use appropriate instructional methods to support diverse learners. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting practical sessions, supervising labs, mentoring students, and evaluating student performance through exams, assignments, and projects. The role also includes participating in curriculum development, contributing to academic committees, engaging in scholarly or educational research, and collaborating with colleagues to enhance program quality and student outcomes.QualificationsStrong subject-matter expertise in human anatomy and physiology, with the ability to integrate basic sciences with clinical and applied aspects.Demonstrated skills in classroom teaching, lesson planning, student assessment, and use of varied instructional strategies and learning technologies.Ability to guide students in laboratory work, practical demonstrations, and small-group learning activities in a safe and structured environment.Effective communication, mentoring, and interpersonal skills to support diverse learners and work collaboratively with academic and administrative teams.Commitment to academic integrity, student-centered learning, continuous improvement, and alignment with industry-relevant educational outcomes.Master’s degree or higher in Anatomy, Physiology, or a closely related discipline from a recognized institution; PhD or equivalent research credentials are an advantage.Prior teaching experience in higher education, especially in medical, allied health, or life sciences programs, is highly desirable.Familiarity with outcome-based education, curriculum design, and the use of digital tools or learning management systems is beneficial.M.sc (Anatomy/Physiology) mandatory
