The role includes preparing lesson plans and teaching materials, supervising practical classes, assessing student performance, and providing academic mentoring and guidance. The faculty member will participate in departmental meetings, curriculum development, internal assessments, and examination-related activities, and is expected to contribute to research, publications, and academic projects in biochemistry and related areas. Additional responsibilities include coordinating with clinical and preclinical departments, supporting accreditation and quality assurance processes, and engaging in academic events, seminars, and continuing education programs. This is a full-time hybrid role, based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, with some flexibility for work-from-home arrangements depending on institutional needs.QualificationsRelevant academic background with a postgraduate degree in Biochemistry (MD, MDS with Biochemistry specialization, M.Sc. Biochemistry, or equivalent) from a recognized institution.Prior teaching experience in biochemistry, preferably in dental or medical colleges, with the ability to deliver structured lectures and practical classes.Demonstrated competence in curriculum planning, student assessment, and academic mentoring, including use of modern teaching methodologies and educational technology.Research aptitude with experience or interest in conducting biochemistry-related research, publishing in peer-reviewed journals, and participating in conferences or academic forums.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary academic and clinical environment.Familiarity with regulatory requirements and standards applicable to dental education and higher education quality assurance.Ability to manage academic workload, maintain accurate records, and contribute to departmental administration in a hybrid work setting.Eligibility for relevant professional or teaching registration and willingness to comply with institutional and national licensing requirements in National or international Colleges
