American International University-Bangladesh (AIUB) is looking for Assistant Professor - Biochemistry and Molecular BiologyJob Description / ResponsibilityAmerican International University-Bangladesh (AIUB) requires qualified and competent Assistant Professor for theFaculty of Health and Life Sciences (FHLS)Department of Biochemistry and Molecular BiologyEducational RequirementsPhD (Doctor of Philosophy)PhD in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, or a relevant discipline from a reputed university.Minimum 3 years of teaching and/or research experience.At least 3 publications in reputed, peer reviewed academic journals.First Class/Division in all academic examinations.Requirements may be relaxed for candidates with exceptional research achievements or extensive experience.Experience RequirementsAt least 3 year(s)The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): UniversityAdditional RequirementsSome of the requirements may be relaxed for candidates with greater experience.Preferred Research ExpertiseTo strengthen AIUB`s rapidly expanding research portfolio, special preference will be given to candidates with demonstrated expertise in:Molecular Biology, including gene expression analysis, genomics, proteomics, recombinant DNA technology, and advanced molecular techniques.Bioinformatics, with a strong command of computational biology, genome and protein sequence analysis, structural bioinformatics, algorithm development, machine learning applications in biology, and high throughput data analysis.Experience in interdisciplinary research integrating wet lab molecular biology with computational approaches will be considered a significant advantage.
