Located in Kozhikode (Calicut), AIMER is committed to developing graduates who can create businesses, lead organizations, and drive innovation in the global economy.Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Assistant Professor role based at AIMER Business School in Kozhikode, Kerala. The Assistant Professor will design and deliver undergraduate business courses, using experiential and industry-integrated teaching methods aligned with the school’s academic framework. Responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, teaching classes, evaluating student performance, and providing academic advising and mentorship, particularly for students involved in live business projects and startup initiatives. The role involves contributing to curriculum development, collaborating with industry partners, supervising internships and projects, and participating in departmental and institutional activities such as seminars, workshops, and academic events. The Assistant Professor is expected to stay current with business trends, engage in scholarly or applied research, and support the school’s mission of developing future-ready business leaders.Qualifications Postgraduate degree (MBA, Master’s in Management or related field) from a recognized institution; PhD or enrollment in a doctoral program in a business-related discipline is an advantage.Demonstrated teaching ability in business or management subjects, with experience using case-based, experiential, or project-based learning approaches.Strong communication, presentation, and classroom management skills, with the ability to engage a diverse group of learners in an inclusive environment.Industry exposure or professional experience in business, entrepreneurship, consulting, or related fields, preferably with experience guiding internships or live projects.Ability to design and update course materials aligned with current business practices, and to collaborate effectively with colleagues and industry mentors.Interest in academic research, applied studies, or innovation in teaching and learning, with readiness to contribute to conferences, publications, or institutional initiatives.Commitment to student mentoring, leadership development, and supporting startup and entrepreneurial activities within the campus ecosystem.
