The Assistant Professor will design and deliver lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions, assess student performance, and provide academic mentoring. The role includes developing course materials, participating in curriculum enhancement, and engaging in scholarly research or academic projects. The Assistant Professor will contribute to departmental activities, attend academic meetings, and support university initiatives such as seminars, workshops, and outreach programs. Collaboration with colleagues to maintain high academic standards and a positive learning environment is an essential part of this position.Qualifications Recognized postgraduate degree (e.g., Master’s) in the relevant discipline; PhD or enrollment in a doctoral program is preferred.Demonstrated ability to teach at the undergraduate and/or postgraduate level using varied, student-centered instructional methods.Strong research orientation with the potential or evidence of publications, conference participation, or funded projects.Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to mentor and support a diverse body of students.Proficiency in academic planning, course design, and continuous assessment aligned with institutional guidelines.Commitment to ethical academic practices, continuous professional development, and participation in university committees and activities.Ability to collaborate with colleagues, engage with industry or community partners, and contribute to institutional development.Familiarity with educational technology, learning management systems, and basic computer applications used in teaching and administration.
