The successful candidate will contribute to teaching, research, student mentorship, and academic service while supporting the university's educational and research objectives.Key ResponsibilitiesTeach undergraduate and/or graduate courses within the relevant academic discipline.Develop and deliver engaging lectures, seminars, laboratory sessions, or practical classes.Prepare course materials, syllabi, assignments, examinations, and other instructional resources.Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback.Advise and mentor students on academic and career development.Conduct original research and contribute to the department's research activities.Publish research findings in peer-reviewed journals and present at academic conferences.Pursue external research funding and grant opportunities when applicable.Collaborate with faculty members and researchers on interdisciplinary projects.Participate in curriculum development and continuous improvement of academic programs.Supervise student research projects, theses, dissertations, or independent studies as applicable.Participate in departmental meetings, committees, and university service activities.Maintain professional knowledge and stay current with developments in the field.Perform other academic duties as assigned by the department or institution.RequirementsPh.D. or terminal degree in the relevant academic discipline from an accredited institution.Demonstrated expertise in the relevant field of study.Teaching experience at the university or college level preferred.Evidence of research potential and scholarly activity.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Ability to develop effective course materials and learning experiences.Strong interpersonal and mentoring skills.Ability to work collaboratively with faculty, staff, and students.Commitment to academic excellence, diversity, and an inclusive learning environment.Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.Preferred QualificationsRecord of peer-reviewed publications or conference presentations.Experience obtaining or contributing to research grants.Experience teaching diverse student populations.Experience with online, hybrid, or technology-enhanced instruction.Strong academic collaboration and interdisciplinary research experience.Professional membership in relevant academic or industry organizations.Experience supervising graduate or undergraduate research.
