The selected candidate will design and deliver engaging lectures, seminars, and lab sessions aligned with the university’s industry-integrated curriculum. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing course materials, mentoring and advising learners, assessing student performance, and maintaining accurate academic records. The role also involves participating in research and innovation activities, contributing to curriculum development, collaborating with industry partners where applicable, and engaging in departmental and university committees. The Assistant Professor is expected to support an inclusive academic environment and actively contribute to the university’s mission of future-focused education.Qualifications Strong academic background in a relevant discipline, with a minimum of a master’s degree; a Ph.D. or evidence of significant research activity is highly desirable.Demonstrated teaching skills, including course planning, lecture delivery, student assessment, and use of innovative, learner-centered pedagogies.Ability to integrate technology into teaching and learning, including familiarity with AI, data analytics, digital tools, or laboratory/industry-based applications relevant to the field.Research and scholarly abilities, such as conducting independent or collaborative research, publishing in academic or professional outlets, and pursuing funded projects.Professional competencies including clear communication, academic writing, mentoring, and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and external partners.Commitment to inclusive, non-discriminatory educational practices and to supporting learners from diverse backgrounds.Experience with curriculum development, outcome-based education, or accreditation processes is an advantage.Prior teaching or industry experience in next-generation domains (e.g., AI, robotics, data science, cyber security, or related areas) will be considered a strong asset.
