The institution values academic excellence, ethical practice, and the application of knowledge for community welfare.Role Description This full-time, on-site Assistant Professor role is based in Bulandshahr and involves teaching undergraduate and/or postgraduate courses in community science and related fields. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and delivering lectures, conducting tutorials and practical sessions, developing course materials, and assessing student performance through assignments, exams, and projects. The role requires mentoring and advising students, supervising research or fieldwork, and contributing to curriculum development and continuous improvement of academic programs. The Assistant Professor will participate in departmental meetings, academic committees, and institutional activities, engage in scholarly research, and support community outreach and extension programs aligned with the college’s mission.Qualifications Strong foundation in community science or related disciplines, with the ability to teach core and elective courses effectively.Demonstrated skills in classroom instruction, academic mentoring, and student evaluation.Ability to design syllabi, develop learning materials, and integrate practical and community-based learning approaches.Research aptitude, including the ability to conduct independent and collaborative studies, and contribute to publications or projects.Effective communication and interpersonal skills for working with students, colleagues, and community partners.Commitment to inclusive, non-discriminatory teaching practices and a learner-centered approach.Master’s degree in a relevant field; a Ph.D. or progress toward a Ph.D. in a related discipline is highly desirable.Familiarity with academic regulations, accreditation requirements, and institutional quality standards.Ability to use basic digital tools for teaching, assessment, and academic administration.
