Alamein International University is looking for candidates for the following open positions in the Public Health Program.Assistant / Associate Professor of Public HealthSuccessful applicants shall be responsible for teaching Public Health courses and conducting and promoting research in the University, besides accreditation and administrative work. In addition, they will assist in supporting the program’s community outreach and development initiatives. The duties, responsibilities, and minimum required qualifications are listed below.Job Information:Job Title: Assistant / Associate Professor of Public HealthJob Location: Alamein International University, New Alamein City, Matrouh Governate Job Nature: Full-time.Working Hours: 9 AM – 4 PM, Sunday to ThursdayContract Duration: one year contract, renewable based on performance evaluation and university needs.

Duties and Responsibilities

Teaching 12–15 hours weekly using active student-centered methodsDevelop, review, and assess curricula, learning outcomes, and student performanceConduct and publish high-quality research, and pursue external funding and collaborationsSupervise student projects, theses, and field-based learningLead and contribute to community health programs, outreach, and service-learning initiativesParticipate in program accreditation, quality assurance, and committee workSupport interprofessional education and partnerships with health sector and community stakeholdersContribute to the AlU Healthy University Initiative.Minimum Job Requirements:RequiredPh.D. degree in Public Health from an accredited university.Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Medicine, Pharmacy, Dentistry, Nursing, Physiotherapy, or a related field from an accredited university.Demonstrated record of scholarly output appropriate to the rankUniversity-level teaching experience, or strong potential for teaching excellenceStrong written and spoken English; Arabic is an advantageExperience with community-based or applied public health projectsCommitment to health literacy, equity, and community engagementPreferredExperience in curriculum design, assessment, or accreditationExperience with grant writing and international research collaborationFamiliarity with mixed-methods and quantitative analysis tools.Assessment Method:Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an interview and/or academic presentation to demonstrate their teaching and research strengths, discuss their vision and share their proposed contribution to AIU’s academic and research mission.Disclaimer:Misrepresentation or omitting any facts relevant to the hiring process in your application and CV or during the interview may result in terminating the hiring process or the contract in addition to any subsequent actions.
