Position: Assistant Professor Location: Manipal, Karnataka Essential Eligibility Criteria: Applicants must meet the following requirements: Master of Social Work (MSW) degree with specialization in Medical & Psychiatric Social Work Ph.D. degree in a discipline related to the Medical & Psychiatric Social Work domain Minimum 5 Scopus-indexed publications Minimum 5 years of professional experience as a practitioner, researcher, or academic. of which, minimum 3 years of clinical/practice experience is mandatory in healthcare settings such as: hospitals; public health systems; mental health services; community health programmes & healthcare NGOsShould have enrolled or be willing to register with National Commission for Allied and Healthcare Professions (NCAHP) Key ResponsibilitiesTeach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the Medical and Psychiatric Social Work programme Supervise clinical practicum and field placements Guide student research and dissertations Supervise PhD scholars Contribute to curriculum development aligned with NCAHP standardsParticipate in institutional research, grant writing exercises, service, and academic leadershipContribute to building strategic partnerships with National and International institutions and organizations.
