The university emphasizes channeling youth energy in productive ways and prioritizes holistic student development over profit-making, creating an environment focused on academic excellence and personal growth.Role Description The Assistant Professor – CSE will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and/or postgraduate computer science and engineering courses, including lectures, tutorials, and laboratory sessions. Daily activities include preparing lesson plans, developing instructional materials, assessing student performance, and providing academic advising and mentorship. The role also involves participating in curriculum development, engaging in research and scholarly activities, supervising student projects, and contributing to departmental initiatives. The Assistant Professor will collaborate with colleagues on academic events, workshops, and industry outreach to enhance learning outcomes. This is a full-time, on-site role based at the Shri Khushal Das University campus in Hanumangarh.QualificationsCandidates should possess strong teaching skills in core CSE subjects such as programming, data structures, algorithms, databases, operating systems, and computer networks.Candidates should possess applied technical skills, including proficiency in relevant programming languages, software development practices, and modern computing tools and platforms.Candidates should possess research and scholarly skills, including the ability to conduct independent research, publish in academic or professional venues, and guide student research projects.Candidates should possess curriculum development and academic planning skills, including designing course content, creating assessments, and aligning learning outcomes with program objectives.Candidates should possess classroom management and student mentorship skills, including the ability to support diverse learners, provide constructive feedback, and foster an inclusive learning environment.Candidates should possess strong communication and collaboration skills, including clear verbal and written communication and the ability to work effectively with faculty, staff, and external partners.A minimum of a Master’s degree (M.Tech/M.E) in Computer Science and Engineering or a closely related discipline from a recognized university is required; a Ph.D. in CSE or related field is preferred.Relevant teaching experience at the university level and familiarity with contemporary pedagogical methods and educational technologies will be beneficial.Commitment to student-centered learning, ethical academic practices, and ongoing professional development is expected.
