The role involves delivering engaging lectures and practical sessions in Computer Science and Engineering, designing and updating curricula to reflect current industry trends and academic standards, and guiding students through projects, internships, and research work. The Assistant Professor will be responsible for conducting assessments, mentoring students, and contributing to department activities such as seminars, workshops, and conferences. The role also includes pursuing research, publishing in reputed journals, participating in academic committees, and supporting collaborations with industry and other institutions. Commitment to inclusive teaching practices and active participation in the academic community are essential.Qualifications Strong foundation in Computer Science and Engineering, with expertise in areas such as programming, data structures, algorithms, operating systems, databases, or computer networks.Ability to design and deliver effective course content, including lectures, labs, and projects, using modern pedagogical approaches and educational technologies.Demonstrated research aptitude, including experience in scholarly writing, publishing, presenting at conferences, and contributing to funded projects.Excellent communication, mentoring, and classroom management skills, with a focus on student engagement and inclusive teaching.Master’s degree (M.Tech/M.E) in Computer Science and Engineering or a closely related field from a recognized institution; Ph.D. (submitted or awarded) in CSE or related area is highly preferred.Familiarity with outcome-based education, accreditation processes, and academic quality assurance will be an advantage.Experience with industry-oriented projects, collaborations, or consulting in the technology domain is beneficial.Commitment to academic integrity, continuous professional development, and contribution to departmental and institutional growth.
