The institute is committed to outcome-based, value-driven education that serves societal needs.Role Description The Assistant Professor CSE role is a full-time, on-site position based at GGI in Ludhiana. The role involves delivering lectures and lab sessions in Computer Science and Engineering, preparing lesson plans and course materials, and evaluating student performance through assignments, tests, and projects. The Assistant Professor will guide students in academic and career matters, supervise projects, and support research and innovation activities within the department. Responsibilities also include participation in curriculum development, academic committees, accreditation processes, and departmental events. The role requires maintaining high academic standards and fostering an engaging, inclusive learning environment.QualificationsStrong foundation in core Computer Science and Engineering subjects (such as Data Structures, Algorithms, Operating Systems, Computer Networks, Databases).Proficiency in programming languages and tools relevant to CSE (for example AI/ML, C/C++, Java, Python, web technologies, or related development environments).Ability to design and deliver structured lectures and lab sessions, including preparation of syllabi, lesson plans, and teaching materials.Skills in student assessment and mentoring, including evaluating assignments and exams, providing feedback, and guiding projects.Research orientation with interest in publishing, presenting academic work, and contributing to departmental research initiatives.Master’s degree (M.Tech/M.E) in Computer Science and Engineering or a closely related discipline from a recognized university; Ph.D. or enrollment in a Ph.D. program is an advantage.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with faculty and staff.Familiarity with outcome-based education, academic quality assurance, and accreditation requirements is preferred.Commitment to inclusive, student-centered teaching and continuous professional development.
