The institution emphasizes innovation, interdisciplinary learning, and a strong foundation in both theory and practice.Role Description The Assistant Professor in the Computer Application department will teach undergraduate and/or postgraduate courses in areas such as computer science fundamentals, programming, information technology, and related domains. Responsibilities include preparing and delivering lectures, designing assessments, guiding student projects, and maintaining up-to-date course materials aligned with current industry and academic standards. The role involves active participation in curriculum development, academic advising, mentoring students, and contributing to departmental activities and committees. The Assistant Professor is also expected to engage in research, scholarly work, and collaboration with colleagues to enhance the department’s academic profile. This is a full-time, on-site role located at HRIT University in Ghaziabad.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong knowledge in Computer Science and Information Technology.Candidates should possess strong skills in Programming and Cybersecurity.Candidates should possess experience in Curriculum Development and academic course design.Postgraduate degree (preferably Ph.D. or at least Master’s) in Computer Applications, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field.Prior teaching experience at the university or college level and familiarity with modern pedagogical methods.Ability to conduct research, publish scholarly work, and contribute to academic conferences or seminars.Strong communication, presentation, and classroom management skills, with a commitment to inclusive and student-centered teaching.Ability to collaborate with colleagues, participate in departmental initiatives, and engage in continuous professional development.
