The college emphasizes a bridge between traditional values and contemporary skills, preparing graduates to succeed professionally and contribute positively to society.Role Description The Assistant Professor in Computer Applications will teach undergraduate courses in areas such as programming, computer science fundamentals, and information technology, using engaging and up-to-date instructional methods. The role involves designing and updating course curricula, preparing lesson plans, delivering lectures, supervising practical sessions and labs, and assessing student performance through assignments, projects, and examinations. The faculty member will provide academic mentoring, guide student research or industry-oriented projects, and contribute to departmental activities, seminars, and academic events. Responsibilities also include participation in academic committees, continuous professional development, and collaboration with colleagues to enhance the quality of teaching and learning. This is a full-time, on-site role based at the Sohna campus.QualificationsStrong foundation in Computer Science and Information Technology, with the ability to teach core concepts clearly and effectively.Proficiency in Programming (e.g., C/C++, Java, Python, or similar languages) and practical experience in software development or related areas.Knowledge of Cybersecurity principles and practices, with readiness to introduce students to secure computing and responsible digital behavior.Experience or demonstrated capability in Curriculum Development for Computer Applications and related subjects, aligned with current industry and academic standards.Master’s degree or higher in Computer Applications, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field from a recognized institution (Ph.D. preferred or in progress).Prior teaching experience at the undergraduate level, or strong evidence of teaching potential, including use of modern pedagogical and assessment methods.Effective communication and classroom management skills, with a student-centric approach and commitment to inclusive, non-discriminatory education.Ability to engage in academic research, publications, or participation in conferences and workshops in the field of computer applications.Willingness to contribute to institutional development, mentoring, community outreach, and co-curricular activities in line with the college’s values.
