The Assistant Professor will teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in clinical psychology, deliver lectures and seminars, supervise practical training, and guide students in case discussions and applied projects. The role includes designing and updating course curricula, developing teaching materials, and incorporating current clinical practices and research findings into classroom instruction. The faculty member will engage in individual and collaborative research, publish in peer-reviewed journals, and contribute to academic conferences and departmental initiatives. Additional responsibilities include mentoring students, participating in departmental meetings and committees, supporting accreditation and quality assurance processes, and contributing to community outreach and professional development activities.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong knowledge and academic training in Psychology, with a specialization or significant focus in Clinical Psychology.Candidates should possess skills in University Teaching and Teaching, including delivering lectures, conducting seminars, supervising practical work, and assessing student performance.Candidates should possess abilities in Curriculum Development, including designing and updating course content, learning outcomes, and assessment methods aligned with current clinical and academic standards.Candidates should possess Research skills, including designing studies, using appropriate methodologies, publishing in peer-reviewed journals, and contributing to the advancement of clinical psychology.Relevant qualifications such as a Ph.D. or M.Phil. in Clinical Psychology (or related discipline), eligibility as per UGC norms, and prior university-level teaching experience are highly beneficial.Additional beneficial skills include clinical practice experience, familiarity with evidence-based interventions, strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work collaboratively in an academic team, and commitment to student mentoring and ethical practice.
