The role involves designing and delivering undergraduate and postgraduate courses in core Computer Science and related domains, using innovative, learner-centered teaching methods. The faculty member will conduct and supervise research, guide student projects and dissertations, and publish in reputable conferences and journals. Responsibilities include curriculum development, continuous course improvement, academic advising, mentoring students, and participating in departmental and university-level committees. The role also involves engaging with industry partners, contributing to accreditation and quality assurance activities, and supporting co-curricular initiatives within the Computer Science department.Qualifications Strong foundation in Computer Science with the ability to teach core subjects and emerging areas.Expertise in Programming and software development practices suitable for undergraduate and postgraduate teaching.Knowledge of Data Science concepts, tools, and methods relevant to modern curricula.Understanding of Cybersecurity principles and applications for academic and practical instruction.Experience with Curriculum Development, including designing syllabi, assessments, and learning outcomes.Relevant doctoral degree (PhD) in Computer Science or closely related field; exceptional candidates with a master’s degree and strong academic/industry track record may be considered as per university norms.Prior teaching or academic experience, with evidence of effective classroom delivery and student engagement.Research record demonstrating publications in recognized journals or conferences, and potential for funded projects.Ability to use educational technologies, learning management systems, and online resources to enhance teaching.Excellent communication, collaboration, and mentoring skills, with a commitment to inclusive and learner-centered education.
