Responsibilities include designing and delivering lectures, labs, and tutorials in core Computer Science and related areas, as well as developing and updating course curricula to reflect current industry and research trends. The role involves guiding student projects, mentoring learners, supervising research, and contributing to departmental and university academic initiatives. The faculty member will engage in scholarly activities such as research publications, conferences, and collaboration with industry and academic partners. Additional duties include participating in academic committees, assessment and evaluation processes, and fostering an inclusive, student-centered learning environment.Qualifications Strong foundation in Computer Science, with the ability to teach core undergraduate and postgraduate courses.Expertise in Programming, with proficiency in one or more modern programming languages and practical software development skills.Knowledge in Data Science, including data analysis, statistics, machine learning concepts, and related tools.Competence in Cybersecurity, covering security principles, risk management, and secure systems design.Experience in Curriculum Development, including course planning, learning outcomes design, and integration of practical, industry-relevant content.Relevant advanced degree (preferably PhD or at least Master’s in Computer Science or a closely related field) from a recognized institution.Demonstrated research potential or track record through publications, projects, or conference presentations.Effective classroom communication skills, ability to use educational technologies, and commitment to inclusive, learner-centered teaching.Strong collaboration, mentoring, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work within diverse academic teams.Prior teaching experience at the university level and industry exposure in computing-related domains is an advantage.
