By collaborating with the higher education ecosystem, CTPL aims to deliver value at lower cost and provide a holistic experience from digital admissions to fully digital campuses.Role Description The Assistant Professor of Computer Science will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and/or postgraduate courses, designing and updating curricula aligned with industry and academic standards, and guiding student projects and research work. Daily activities include preparing lectures and learning materials, conducting classroom and lab sessions, assessing student performance, and providing academic mentoring. The role also involves participating in departmental meetings, contributing to academic initiatives, and engaging with CTPL’s EdTech platforms to enhance teaching and learning. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Jaipur, requiring regular presence on campus.QualificationsStrong foundation in core Computer Science concepts and ability to teach a range of CS courses.Experience in Curriculum Development, including designing, reviewing, and updating course content to meet current academic and industry needs.Competence in Programming (e.g., Python, Java, C/C++, or similar languages) and practical lab instruction.Knowledge of Data Science concepts, tools, or methods and their application in teaching and projects.Understanding of Cybersecurity principles and practices, with the ability to integrate them into relevant courses.Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science or a closely related discipline from a recognized institution.Prior teaching or academic experience, including classroom management and student mentoring, is preferred.Ability to use digital learning tools and EdTech platforms to deliver engaging, learner-centered instruction.Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to inclusive and ethical teaching practices.Interest in research, academic publishing, or industry collaboration in areas related to computer science and educational technology.
