CTPL aims to collaborate with and uplift the higher education ecosystem, providing a holistic experience from digital admissions to fully digital campuses at a significantly lower cost.Role Description The Assistant Professor of Computer Science will design and deliver undergraduate and/or postgraduate courses in core computer science and related domains, ensuring alignment with CTPL’s technology-driven higher education vision. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and updating course materials, conducting lectures and lab sessions, mentoring students, supervising projects, and evaluating student performance. The role also involves contributing to curriculum innovation, collaborating with colleagues on academic initiatives, integrating CTPL’s EdTech solutions into teaching, and participating in departmental and institutional activities. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Jaipur.QualificationsStrong foundation in core Computer Science concepts and the ability to teach fundamental and advanced topics.Expertise in Programming languages and software development practices suitable for classroom and laboratory instruction.Knowledge of Data Science principles, tools, and applications relevant to modern computing curricula.Understanding of Cybersecurity concepts, best practices, and emerging trends to guide secure computing education.Experience in Curriculum Development, including designing syllabi, learning outcomes, and assessments that reflect industry and academic standards.Relevant postgraduate degree (e.g., M.Tech/MS/MSc in Computer Science or related field); a Ph.D. in Computer Science or a closely related discipline is preferred.Prior teaching or academic experience in higher education, with demonstrated ability to engage and support diverse learners.Strong communication, presentation, and academic writing skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.Comfort with educational technologies, learning management systems, and digital tools that enhance teaching and student engagement.Commitment to collaborative work, ethical academic practices, and continuous professional development in the field of computer science.
