The company continues to expand its impact by partnering with institutions and learners seeking career-ready training in technology.Role Description The Assistant Professor of Computer Science will be responsible for designing and delivering high-quality classroom instruction to undergraduate and postgraduate learners. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and teaching computer science courses, mentoring students on technical skills and career readiness, and supporting placement-focused training initiatives. The role involves developing and updating curricula to reflect current industry practices, supervising projects, evaluating student performance, and contributing to workshops, bootcamps, and masterclasses. The Assistant Professor will collaborate with academic and training teams to align course content with FACE Prep’s job preparation objectives and support continuous improvement in teaching methodologies. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru.QualificationsStrong foundational knowledge in core Computer Science topics and the ability to teach them effectively.Proficiency in Programming concepts and languages relevant to modern software development.Applied expertise or teaching experience in Data Science, including data analysis and machine learning fundamentals.Master’s in Computer Science or a closely related field from a recognized institution.Demonstrated teaching, mentoring, or training experience, preferably with tech-focused or placement-oriented programs.Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage diverse learners and simplify complex concepts.Commitment to student success, industry-aligned education, and inclusive, non-discriminatory teaching practices.Interest in collaborating on workshops, bootcamps, and industry partnerships; prior experience with such initiatives is an advantage.
