CTPL collaborates with higher education partners to deliver holistic, technology-enabled experiences from digital admissions to fully digital campuses at a lower overall cost to the ecosystem.Role Description The Assistant Professor of Computer Science will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and/or graduate-level courses, designing and updating course curricula, and preparing lectures, assignments, and assessments that align with CTPL’s technology-driven educational offerings. Day-to-day responsibilities include mentoring and advising students, supervising projects, participating in academic committees, and contributing to program development to ensure industry relevance. The role also involves engaging in applied research or scholarly activities, collaborating with colleagues on academic initiatives, and integrating CTPL’s EdTech solutions into teaching and learning practices. This is a full-time, on-site role based in the Mohali district, requiring regular presence on campus and active participation in academic and institutional activities.Qualifications Strong foundation in Computer Science, with the ability to teach core and advanced topics and support technology-driven learning.Experience in Curriculum Development, including designing, revising, and aligning courses with industry and EdTech requirements.Working knowledge of Data Science concepts, tools, or applications relevant to modern computer science education.Understanding of Cybersecurity principles and practices, with interest in integrating security topics into teaching or projects.Proficiency in Programming (e.g., Python, Java, C++, or similar languages) and experience guiding students in coding and software development.Relevant advanced degree in Computer Science or a closely related field (Master’s required; Ph.D. preferred).Demonstrated teaching ability, clear communication skills, and a student-centered, inclusive approach to education.Ability to collaborate with academic and industry partners, adapt to educational technologies, and contribute to institutional growth.
