Day-to-day tasks include delivering undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Computer Science, preparing lesson plans and teaching materials, and assessing student performance through assignments, projects, and examinations. The role involves developing and updating curricula to align with current industry standards and emerging technologies, as well as mentoring and advising students on academic and career pathways. The Assistant Professor is expected to participate in academic research or scholarly activities, contribute to departmental initiatives, and support institutional events and committees. Collaboration with colleagues to enhance pedagogy, integrate practical applications, and maintain a positive, inclusive learning environment is an important component of this role.QualificationsPostgraduate degree (e.g., M.Tech/M.E./M.S. or equivalent) in ComputePrior teaching or academic experience, with the ability to use modern instructional methods and educational technologies.Effective communication and classroom management skills, with a commitment to inclusive and learner-centered teaching.Willingness to engage in research, publications, conferences, and continuous professional development.Ability to collaborate with colleagues, contribute to departmental administration, and support institutional initiatives.
