The role involves designing and delivering undergraduate and/or graduate-level courses in education, facilitating interactive classroom sessions, and mentoring students in their academic and professional growth. Daily responsibilities include planning lessons, evaluating student performance, supervising fieldwork or practicum activities, and providing regular academic advising. The Assistant Professor will also engage in scholarly research, participate in curriculum development initiatives, and contribute to departmental meetings, committees, and quality assurance processes. Collaboration with colleagues to enhance teaching standards and support institutional projects is expected.Qualifications Strong foundation in Education and Teaching, with the ability to apply pedagogical theories in classroom practice.Experience in Curriculum Development, including designing course outlines, learning outcomes, and assessment strategies.Demonstrated Research skills, such as conducting studies in education, publishing academic work, or presenting at conferences.Capabilities in Educational Leadership, including contributing to program development, student guidance, and institutional initiatives.Relevant postgraduate degree in Education or a closely related field (e.g., M.Ed., MA Education; Ph.D. preferred or in progress).Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary academic environment.Commitment to inclusive, learner-centered teaching and continuous professional development.Familiarity with educational technology and innovative teaching methodologies is an advantage.
