The role involves teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses in English language and literature, designing and delivering engaging lectures, leading discussions, and assessing student performance through assignments, examinations, and projects.The faculty member will contribute to curriculum development, including course planning, syllabus design, and integration of innovative teaching methods and technology-enhanced learning. Responsibilities also include mentoring and advising students, participating in academic committees, contributing to departmental initiatives, and engaging in scholarly activities such as research, publications, and conferences. The role requires active participation in institutional events and collaboration with colleagues to support the university’s academic and research goals.QualificationsCandidates should possess strong skills in English Teaching and Teaching, with demonstrated ability to facilitate effective classroom instruction and student-centered learning.Candidates should possess expertise in English Literature and Literature, with the ability to teach core and elective courses and guide literary analysis and critical thinking.Candidates should possess skills in Curriculum Development, including designing syllabi, developing assessment methods, and aligning course content with program outcomes.Relevant academic qualifications such as a Master’s degree in English, English Literature, or a closely related field from a recognized institution.Strong research orientation with evidence of publications, conference participation, or ongoingExcellent written and oral communication skills, classroom management abilities, and proficiency in using digital tools and learning management systems for teaching.Commitment to inclusive, gender-neutral, and non-discriminatory pedagogy, along with a collaborative approach to working with colleagues and diverse student populations.Freshers who have passion to teach young engineers are welcome to apply.
