Responsibilities include preparing and delivering lectures, designing assignments and assessments, mentoring students, and providing academic advising as needed. The role involves contributing to curriculum development, participating in departmental meetings, and supporting university initiatives that foster holistic student growth. The Assistant Professor will be expected to engage in scholarly activities such as research, publication, and academic events. This is a full-time, on-site role based at the Shri Khushal Das University campus in Hanumangarh.QualificationsStrong proficiency in English Teaching and Teaching, with the ability to facilitate interactive and inclusive classroom learning.Expertise in English Literature and Literature, including the ability to teach a range of canonical and contemporary texts.Experience in Curriculum Development, with skills in designing, reviewing, and updating course content and assessment methods.Advanced academic qualifications in English or a closely related field (minimum of a Master’s degree; Ph.D. or ongoing doctoral work preferred).Demonstrated ability to engage in research, publish scholarly work, and participate in academic conferences or seminars.Excellent communication, presentation, and academic writing skills, with a student-centered and ethically grounded teaching philosophy.Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, contribute to departmental responsibilities, and support co-curricular activities.Familiarity with educational technology and willingness to integrate digital tools into teaching and learning processes.
