By collaborating with higher education institutions, CTPL delivers value at lower cost while providing a holistic experience from digital admissions to fully digital campuses.Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for an Assistant Professor of Finance based in the Mohali district. The Assistant Professor will deliver lectures, tutorials, and seminars in finance and related disciplines, design and update course materials, and assess student performance through assignments, projects, and examinations. The role includes guiding students in academic and industry-oriented projects, engaging in research and scholarly activities, and contributing to curriculum development to ensure alignment with current market and industry practices. The Assistant Professor will participate in academic committees, collaborate with colleagues on interdisciplinary initiatives, and support CTPL’s mission of integrating EdTech solutions into higher education.QualificationsStrong foundation in Finance and Corporate Finance, with the ability to teach core and advanced courses.Solid understanding of Accounting principles and practices relevant to higher education and industry applications.Knowledge of Economics, including microeconomics and macroeconomics as they relate to financial markets and institutions.Demonstrated Research skills, including the ability to publish in academic journals and guide student research projects.Relevant postgraduate degree (e.g., MBA, Master’s in Finance, Economics, or Accounting); a PhD or progress toward a PhD in a related field is preferred.Prior teaching or academic experience in finance or related areas, with evidence of effective classroom delivery.Ability to integrate technology and digital tools into teaching, assessment, and student engagement.Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach to working with students and colleagues.Familiarity with current industry practices and regulatory frameworks in finance, and willingness to update course content accordingly.
