CPJ maintains close engagement with key growth sectors of the economy to align its curriculum with evolving global trends and employer expectations.Role Description The Assistant Professor of Law will be responsible for designing and delivering lectures, tutorials, and seminars for undergraduate and postgraduate law courses, including integrated programs. Day-to-day activities include preparing lesson plans, developing course materials, evaluating student performance through assignments and examinations, and providing academic mentoring and guidance. The role also involves conducting legal research, contributing to scholarly publications, participating in curriculum development, and supporting the academic rigor of the School of Law. The Assistant Professor will engage in departmental meetings, academic events, and institutional initiatives that strengthen industry and professional linkages. This is a full-time, on-site role based at the Narela campus.Qualifications Strong foundation in Law, with specialization or expertise in areas such as Constitutional Law and Criminal Law.Demonstrated Teaching capabilities, including classroom instruction, student engagement, and assessment design.Proficiency in legal Research, including doctrinal and empirical methods, and an interest in publishing scholarly work.Relevant academic qualifications such as LL.M. (required) and Ph.D. in Law or enrollment in a doctoral program (preferred).Familiarity with contemporary legal developments, case law, and the regulatory framework governing legal education.Excellent communication skills, ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, and commitment to academic integrity and student success.Prior teaching or academic experience, and exposure to industry or professional practice, will be an added advantage.
