The university draws on the technology and academic delivery expertise of Physics Wallah's broader digital learning ecosystem.About the RolePWDU is seeking an Assistant Professor in Political Science to drive academic content development and curriculum delivery for its BA Political Science programme. The successful candidate will work within a technology-enabled, UGC-compliant Open and Distance Learning (ODL) and Online Education framework.ResponsibilitiesCurriculum & Content: Develop, update, review, and maintain Political Science course curriculum, Self-Learning Materials (SLMs), video content, e-content, and assessments in line with UGC ODL and Online Regulations.Course Delivery: Coordinate course delivery through the Learning Management System (LMS).Student Engagement: Conduct live classes for assigned courses, moderate discussion forums, resolve students' queries, and provide academic support to learners.Assessments: Conduct and monitor continuous assessments and examinations.Collaboration: Coordinate with Course Mentors and other faculty to ensure effective course delivery.Quality Assurance: Ensure the academic rigor, pedagogical quality, originality, and regulatory compliance of course content across assigned subject areas.Academic Processes: Contribute to curriculum design, academic calendars, and departmental academic processes as per NEP-2020.Record Keeping: Maintain course records and recommend improvements based on learner feedback.QualificationsCandidates must meet one of the following criteria in the relevant discipline (Political Science) as per UGC norms:A PG Degree with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade) and a Ph.D. Degree.A PG degree with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade) and qualification in the National Eligibility Test (NET/SLET/SET).Required SkillsDemonstrated experience in content development, curriculum design, or teaching within an online/ODL environment.Strong familiarity with LMS platforms and digital assessment systems.
