About the jobThe Assistant Professor of Public Administration is a full-time, tenure-track faculty position. The successful candidate will contribute to the department’s mission through high-quality teaching, rigorous research, and institutional service. This role involves instructing both undergraduate and graduate students, maintaining an active publication pipeline, and engaging with public sector organizationsAn Assistant Professor of Public Administration manages three core pillars: teaching, research, and service.1. Teaching & CurriculumTeach public policy, finance, and governance to undergraduate and graduate students.Design updated course syllabi, assignments, and exam rubrics.Hold weekly office hours to advise students on academics and careers.2. Research & PublicationConduct original research in public sector management.Publish articles in peer-reviewed academic journals.Submit grant proposals to secure external research funding.3. Service & AdministrationServe on departmental committees and assist with program design.Supervise master's dissertations and assist Ph.D. students.Build partnerships with local government agencies and NGOs.Key QualificationsPh.D. in Public Administration, Public Policy, or Political Science.BA & MA in Public Administration/ Political Science.National or state eligibility certification (like UGC NET) if required.Strong pipeline of peer-reviewed research publications.
