The role supports high standards of teaching, research, and academic excellence.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver lectures, seminars, tutorials, workshops, and practical sessions.Develop and update course materials, syllabi, lesson plans, and teaching resources.Design and evaluate examinations, assignments, projects, and other assessments.Provide academic guidance, mentoring, and support to students.Conduct research and publish papers in academic journals and conferences.Participate in research projects, academic collaborations, and grant activities.Supervise undergraduate, postgraduate, and research students where applicable.Participate in curriculum development and academic program reviews.Maintain accurate student records, grades, attendance, and academic documentation.Participate in faculty meetings, committees, academic events, and institutional activities.Collaborate with other faculty members and external academic or industry partners.Contribute to seminars, conferences, workshops, and professional-development activities.Stay updated on developments, research, technologies, and best practices within the academic field.Support accreditation, quality assurance, and institutional improvement activities.Promote academic excellence, student achievement, research quality, and continuous improvement.QualificationsMaster's or PhD degree in the relevant academic discipline, depending on the position and institution.Previous university or higher-education teaching experience is preferred.Strong knowledge and expertise in the relevant academic field.Demonstrated research experience and academic publications are advantageous.Ability to develop and deliver high-quality lectures and learning materials.Strong communication, presentation, mentoring, and interpersonal skills.Excellent research, analytical, writing, and problem-solving abilities.Familiarity with learning-management systems and educational technologies.Ability to work collaboratively with faculty, students, researchers, and external partners.Professional, organized, innovative, academically focused, and committed to student success.
