Role DescriptionAn Assistant Professor / Professor is responsible for teaching, academic research, student development, and contributing to the academic activities and development of the institution.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver lectures, seminars, tutorials, and other academic activities.Develop and update course content, teaching materials, and assessments.Plan and deliver high-quality teaching aligned with academic standards.Assess student performance through assignments, examinations, and projects.Provide academic guidance, mentoring, and support to students.Conduct research and contribute to academic publications.Develop research projects and seek relevant research opportunities.Present research findings at conferences, seminars, and academic events.Supervise undergraduate, postgraduate, and research students as required.Participate in curriculum development and academic program improvement.Collaborate with faculty members and academic departments.Participate in academic committees, meetings, and institutional activities.Maintain accurate academic records and prepare course-related reports.Support student engagement, academic development, and learning outcomes.Contribute to the institution’s academic reputation and continuous improvement.QualificationsMaster’s degree or PhD in the relevant academic discipline, depending on the academic level and institutional requirements.Relevant teaching or academic experience in higher education.Strong knowledge of the relevant subject area and current academic developments.Experience in curriculum development, assessment, and academic delivery.Research experience and a record of academic publications is advantageous.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Excellent presentation, teaching, and interpersonal abilities.Strong academic research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Ability to mentor and support students effectively.Familiarity with learning management systems and digital teaching tools.Ability to work collaboratively with academic and administrative teams.Strong organizational and time-management skills.Ability to manage teaching, research, and academic responsibilities.Professional, ethical, organized, and committed to academic excellence.
