The Assistant Professor will design and deliver undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Public Administration, using contemporary pedagogical methods and aligning with the university’s academic standards. Daily responsibilities include preparing and updating course materials, lecturing, leading seminars, mentoring students, supervising research projects and dissertations, and providing academic advising. The role involves active participation in departmental meetings, curriculum development, and quality assurance activities, as well as contributing to research output through publications, conference participation, and collaborative projects. The Assistant Professor is also expected to engage in academic outreach, support university events, and foster an inclusive, student-centered learning environment.QualificationsPhD (or Thesis Submitted) and a relevant master’s degree from a recognized institution.Demonstrated knowledge of core Public Administration areas.Strong teaching abilities, including course planning, classroom instruction, use of educational technology, and student assessment aligned with outcome-based education.Evidence of research potential or established research record, including publications, conference presentations, and interest in collaborative, interdisciplinary projects.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse learners and facilitate discussions on complex public sector issues.Commitment to ethical practice, inclusive education, mentorship of students, and contribution to the academic community and institutional development.Ability to work effectively in teams, participate in departmental and university committees, and contribute to academic administration as needed.Prior university-level teaching experience and familiarity with Indian higher education regulations and accreditation requirements
